Thank you to all the senators who voted "yes" on the Cantwell amendment to remove Arctic Refuge oil drilling from the budget, including our wonderful Boxer and Feinstein (and both MN senators!). Your efforts at maintaining rationality and preserving what we still have in this country are appreciated.

So...anyone wanna plan a trip to the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for this summer? It may be our last chance to see it untained, as, if this budget is approved, drilling could commence later *this year*.

Yesyesyesyesssssss, I want to go so damn badly. I just commented on my friend's LJ about it. Let's go to Alaska and see the sled doggies! And the wildlife too. AND THE WOLFIES AND THE CARIBOU AND ALL KINDS OF CUTE THINGS!!!
